Ice Cream + Weight Loss?
You’ve been lied to!
They tell you that if you want to look and feel your best you have to be MISERABLE and follow a STRICT diet.
But that’s totally Bullsh*t!
What if you could look great, have energy through the roof, feel like a billion bucks—and still have the foods you enjoy?
Sounds too good to be true huh?
Well, I’ll let you know that many of our friends are doing it and we’ve personally been able to stay lean with the method I want to share with you today.
3 Rules for Having Your Favorite Foods
Rule 1: Prepare when you’ll have your FREE foods & limit it to 2x per week.
I’m sure you’re thinking there’s no way that would work...well think about it. If you eat 4x per day, that’s 28 meals per week. Do you think having 2 meals per week that were foods you enjoyed and maybe not the most healthiest, would cancel out the other 90% of great meals you had?
Well..it kind of depends right? You definitely could go off the rails and pack in 3,000 calories and put yourself out of a calorie deficit and into a surplus—and that’s why reading Rule 2 is extremely important. But if you’re having an issue with losing weight, you most likely are having more than two of these meals per week and eating too much food to be losing weight. (If you’re not, you’re already conquering Rule 1!)
So the first rule is all about planning to tackle the frequency.
You can’t overdo the free foods or it will catch up with you.
Rule 2: When you do have your FREE meal—you can’t stuff yourself or have any emotional backlash about it.
Remember these foods are a part of the plan!
Most people have an awful relationship with food. They're afraid to eat "bad" foods. So when they do, they feel guilty and beat themselves up about it. And they usually don’t stop with just one.
"Ahhh…who gives a hell, I already screwed this diet up. It wasn’t working for me anyway."
The truth is, there's no such thing as BAD FOOD. Eating one piece of cake will never make you fat, just like having one apple won’t get you in shape.
You’ll have better and longer results when you can include foods you prefer and like. Regardless if they are the most healthiest or not.
Your waistline will always depend on your habits and relationship with food.
Rule 3: Eat your FREE meal around your weight lifting days.
Something magical happens inside your body when you workout. Your body goes into a metabolic process called anabolism. Anabolism is the process when the body builds molecules it needs. Like the body repairing muscle that was damaged from a workout.
These reactions are influenced by chemical messengers called hormones, including the anabolic hormones testosterone, growth hormone, and insulin. These hormones are released when you lift weights to repair muscle that was damaged.
So when food shows up to this epic party going on in your body, it’s much more likely that they will be dancing and shaking their rump instead of leaving with all of the beer and wine.
So keep your free foods around your weight lifting days to make sure those calories are being put to good use.
You shouldn’t completely avoid foods you enjoy, but rather plan and time when you’ll have them.
